ExpresSyn Safety Evaluations

Objective:
Test the safety of the selected combinations in cells of non-target tissues, and choose the combination with the highest activity in target cells and the least activity in non-target cells to maintain a high standard of predicted safety.

  • To be an ExpresSyn product, more than a history of safe use and exhaustive literature reviews are required.
  • Proteomic testing is extended to specific, non-target cell systems (e.g., GI cells).
  • Why test in non-target cell systems? While you want a product that is active in target tissues, activity in certain other tissues may cause adverse effects.
  • Non-target proteomic testing helps reveal potential safety concerns and assists in the identification and elimination of any combination that carries a likelihood of short or long-term safety issues.

Data are analyzed from all Cell Proteomic Research and Safety Evaluations. The combination demonstrating the highest activity and level of predicted safety is selected for the next phase of the ExpresSyn Process: Human ex vivo Research.
