Objective:
Provide the clinical confidence healthcare professionals need in order to recommend products with knowledge of dose response, tolerance, and benefit.
Clinical experience may include 3 or more of the following depending on the product:
- Clinical case studies in which patients having specific health concerns are managed with targeted nutritional support and results documented.
- Human ex-vivo trials.
- Taste and tolerance trials for assessment of short-term safety and tolerability.
- Observational clinical trials.
Metagenics is the only company in the natural healthcare industry with its own clinical research center-the Functional Medicine Research Center (FMRC). There are thousands of patient visits per year at our onsite clinic at the FMRC. Research on Metagenics formulas is conducted at a level consistent with the FDA's Good Clinical Practice-Institutional Review Board guidelines.
